My KGIC STORY

I was studying at KGIC for 5 months. at Surrey Campus, There are 4 different class for each English levels. I started with level 2.
I had almost no English so Everything was so difficult for me such as, expressing my opinion in the class or even at home and I was home sick first couple of months. Fortunately, KGIC teachers and my host family were trying to understand and supporting me every time. Also it’s my first time to go to foreign country so I didn’t know how to take the bus or train to go some where Although I had so mush spare time. So that was wonderful that there was awesome activity coordinator. I had so much fun in the activity too. The best one was Seattle. By meeting wonderful teachers and friends and keeping up my efforts, I moved to level 4 and By the time graduate from KGIC, my English was totally different from when I first arrived I was able to be confident about my English skill. The best part is that they held ceremony for people who graduate end of August because there were so many. They chose the top student from each class. And I was chosen for the top level 4 student. I cried so much when I left KGIC. Now I go to high school in Abbotsford with new host family. High school life is not everything that I expected but English skill that I learned at KGIC help a lot now. Sometimes I still visit my old host family and my friends from KGIC. 5 months that I spent at KGIC is wonderful experienceI was studying at KGIC for 5 months. at Surrey Campus, There are 4 different class for each English levels.
